Shocking moment waste disposal firm tips skip full of rubbish into customer’s garden after she fails to pay

The company said they were simply returning the woman's property after she refused to pay up

MOUNDS of rubbish have been pushed into a woman's garden after she failed to pay a skip company - with the dramatic scenes caught on camera.

Junk was poured out from the skip bin onto the woman's front doorstep, with one man even hopping into the tray to push every last bag out onto the grass.

The full bags of rubbish are piled over the home's brick wall, with the busting bin bags and even an old mattress falling out.

In the footage, a number of people can be seen watching the garbage truck pour the debris back onto the property.

The skip bin is plastered with company Ainscough Skip Hire's name, which is based in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

Sean Ainscough, who is the son of Ainscough Skip Hire's owner, told The Sun Online that the company had given the customer six weeks to pay the bill of about £90 to £100.

He said: "She was given about six weeks to pay and when the date came, she sent us abusive messages about the cost and for the fact she couldn't pay.

"She wanted the skip for free, but we're not running a charity."

He said that the company often faced people trying to get away with not paying.

Mr Ainscough said: "If we are extremely busy and they're not there when we take the skip, we let them call in and pay at the office a bit later.

"But given the amount of time that had lapsed in which she was given to pay, it was very reasonable.

"When you don't pay a debt, they come and remove your stuff. All we did was give her her stuff back."

He pointed out that while the skip bin was owned by the family business, which had been running for about eight years, the rubbish still belonged to the woman.

He said: "We have a very good reputation, we have very loyal customers who understand."

In the video, taken in about September 2014, the skip bin can be seen to be pulled up onto the back of a truck before it is wheeled back towards the property.

The homeowner does not appear in the video.

The video comes after The Sun reported on thousands of households potentially being affected by delayed rubbish collections over the festive period.

Councils have also been slammed for spending cash on "bin police" who snoop on residents' rubbish in Stoke-on-Trent.
