Who is Miles Sonkin? All about Andrew Tate’s ‘War Room brother’ Iggy Semmelweis
ANDREW TATE has faced more controversy as his War Room network made headlines in August 2023 when an investigation into the site was published.
One name to come out of the investigation was Miles Sonkin, who a whistleblower suggested is actually the one in charge of the War Room.
Who is Miles Sonkin and what is his real name?
Miles Sonkin is an associate of Andrew Tate's who has been described by the BBC as Tate's War Room's "true leader and intellectual driving force".
He has also been referred to as "Andrew's right-hand man" in a 2023 Vice documentary.
His real name is Miles Sonkin but he uses the alias Iggy Semmelweis online, which is the name of a 19th-century Hungarian physician.
Sonkin was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1961 and is thought to have met Andrew Tate around 2018.

Sonkin made headlines in August 2023 when the BBC published , with findings suggesting that dozens of women were "groomed into online sex work" via Tate's War Room.
The investigation found that Sonkin described himself as a "wizard" and was seen as being in charge of the group by the whistleblower involved in the inquiry.
Leaked chats showed that violence against women "was taught and encouraged" by the War Room.
Tate responded to the BBC's findings via a spokeswoman, saying that the claims "not only present false accusations, but insult the massive community that considers Andrew Tate a life changing positive force".
The statement added that Tate "is prepared to take all necessary legal actions to defend his innocence and hold accountable those responsible for defamatory claims".
Sonkin, meanwhile, did not comment when confronted by the BBC outside his home in Los Angeles, California.
What is Andrew Tate's 'War Room'?
Leaked War Room chats, obtained by the BBC, appear to show that the site teaches its members how to groom women into sex work.
Members are reportedly instructed to become romantically involved with women before emotionally manipulating and socially isolating them.
The women are then talked into performing on webcams, with the men pocketing a large percentage of the money they make.
The BBC adds that the leaked messages they obtained suggest violence against women was taught and encouraged in the War Room.
It costs £6,300 a year to join.
According to Tate, the War Room purports to be a space to discuss business and "taking ownership of your choices and actions," according to Tate.

Tate is currently on house arrest and awaiting trial for charges related to rape and human trafficking.
His brother Tristan and two associates also face charges, which all have denied.
