CHILLING new footage of the Pulse gay nightclub massacre shows the moment brave cops took on shooter Omar Mateen.
ISIS-inspired Mateen left 49 dead and 53 more injured after going on a bloody gun rampage at the Florida club.
And newly-released CCTV shows the moment desperate clubbers ran for their lives while armed police approached the entrance.
Several cops can be seen approaching the Orlando hotspot with guns pointed.
All the while dozens of clubbers run out of the nightclub as they escape the bloody gun spree of 29-year-old Mateen.

Later, cops are filmed pointing their guns at the entrance with a wounded figure seen lying on the ground.
It is not clear if the figure is the body of Mateen.
A series of heart-rending recordings from the June attack have been released since.
Among the most haunting were the desperate 911 calls of clubbers who would later be gunned down by Mateen.
One call, from the boyfriend of a victim to the police, saw him say: "People are shot and dead … Are you guys sending anybody there?
“They are all scared to death, and they all think they are going to die.”
