Donald Trump’s mugshot released after former president arrested on conspiracy and racketeering charges in Georgia
DONALD Trump’s mugshot has been released after he surrendered to cops and was arrested in Georgia.
The former US president, 77, turned himself in on Thursday night after being indicted on election interference charges.

Donald Trump was booked at the jail in Atlanta, Georgia after being greeted by a large crowd of supporters when he arrived.
He had his fingerprints and a mugshot taken, spending just 20 minutes at the facility.
He was released from custody after his team had agreed on a bond of $200,000.
The booking photo, which showed Trump scowling at the camera, was a historic moment in American history as it's the first-ever mugshot of a former US president.
After his release, Trump once again insisted that he did "nothing wrong," calling his latest arrest a "travesty of justice" as he spoke to the press before boarding his plane that was parked on the tarmac at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
He then took to his Truth Social page to share a picture of his mugshot, writing: "Election interference. Never surrender!"
Not long after, he posted the photo to X, formerly known as Twitter, in his first tweet since being banned from the platform in January 2021.
At the same time, his campaign launched a new fundraising push using the booking photo, writing: "This mugshot will forever go down in history as a symbol of America’s defiance of tyranny."

Trump slammed The Department of Justice during ainterview later on Thursday night.
He told the outlet: "It's a very sad experience, and it's a very sad day for our country."
Trump said that he had never heard the words "mug shot" before.
Armed cops guarded the jail as pro and anti-Trump supporters rallied nearby.
Diehard supporters had lined the streets to cheer on the former president with calls to "lock up" District Attorney Fani Willis.
Among the crowd was Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who smiled and waved at her constituents.
The Federal Aviation Administration imposed temporary flight restrictions ahead of Trump's arrival in Georgia.
Trump could be returning to Atlanta in the coming weeks for his arraignment.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has proposed the arraignment hearing to be held during the week of September 5.
But it's possible that he might waive the right to appear.
BOOKING SHEET
Trump's booking sheet was posted to the Fulton County Jail website moments after his arrest, dubbing him inmate number P01135809.
The document listed his height as 6-foot-3 and weight as 215 pounds, down from the 244 pounds that he weighed in his 2020 physical exam by a White House physician.
The sheet noted that his hair was "blond or strawberry" and listed the 13 charges against him.
They include conspiracy to commit false statements and writings, conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree, filing false documents, and violation of the Georgia Rico (Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations) Act.
He was one of 19 defendants that was named in the indictment.
As Trump left the Fulton County jail this evening, deputies responded to a bomb threat at the Fulton County Courthouse roughly five miles from the facility where Trump was booked.
The sheriff's office investigated and determined there was no item of concern at the courthouse.
'PROUDLY ARRESTED'
Trump strongly denies the 13 charges against him, which include conspiracy and racketeering.
The charges are part of the fourth indictment the tycoon faces and they come as his lead in the 2024 Republican primary race continues to soar.
Trump is around 40 points clear in the race for the GOP nomination, according to the latest national polls.
Trump posted on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday that he would "proudly be arrested" in Georgia.
He joins a number of his allies that have already surrendered to the authorities.
Republican poll watcher and Trump supporter Scott Hall, lawyer John Eastman, and ex-Georgia State Senator David Shafer are among those indicted who turned themselves in.
Shafer has shared a picture of his mugshot on X, formerly known as Twitter, and made it his new profile picture.
Former Trump lawyers Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and Rudy Giuliani surrendered on Wednesday as well.
Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has also surrendered, but Harrison Floyd, who was also named in the indictment, remains holed up in custody at the jail after the terms of his bond couldn't be agreed.
Trump could be hit with a prison sentence of up to 20 years if convicted of violating the Rico law.
Trump slammed the indictment and branded Willis a “phony.”
He claimed the charges were part of a "witch hunt."
His team branded it “bogus” and accused Willis of trying to “maximally interfere with the 2024 presidential race and damage the dominant Trump campaign.”
It remains unknown when Trump will face trial, but reported that Willis has put forward a potential October 23 start date to the judge.
Last week, Willis suggested a potential start date of March 4, 2024 - just a day before Super Tuesday, which is when a large number of states hold primary elections and caucuses.
The first GOP caucus gets underway in Iowa on January 15, 2024.
WAVE OF INDICTMENTS
Trump has been slapped with four indictments over the past four months.
In April, Trump pleaded not guilty to dozens of fraud charges that were linked to his alleged hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
The indictment was historic as Trump became the first US president ever to be criminally charged.
The Manhattan indictment was the first indictment that had been issued against a former US president.
Trump has also been accused of mishandling classified documents at his Mar-A-Lago estate.
He allegedly retained a trove of files on nuclear weapons, foreign militaries, and CIA operations, and showed them off to guests.
The indictment claimed that the docs Trump allegedly stored contained defense information about the US and foreign nations.
It alleged: "The unauthorized disclosure of these classified documents could put at risk the national security of the United States, foreign affairs, the safety of the United States military."
Trump is also accused of showing docs to others twice in 2021 at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club.
The ex-president has been slapped with 37 charges surrounding the classified docs case and has pled not guilty to the allegations.
A judge has set the trial date for this case for May 2024 - months before Americans go to the polls.
Trump has also been charged in Washington, DC in connection with his alleged involvement in the events that unfolded on January 6, 2021.
Pro-Trump MAGA supporters stormed the Capitol as lawmakers prepared to verify the Electoral College votes from the 2020 election.
Trump has been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, conspiracy to violate civil rights, and corrupt obstruction of an official proceeding.

He bashed the indictment, saying: “This is nothing more than the latest corrupt chapter in the continued pathetic attempt by the Biden Crime Family and their weaponized Department of Justice to interfere with the 2024 Presidential Election, in which President Trump is the undisputed frontrunner, and leading by substantial margins.”
Trump's team has asked for the Washington DC trial to be held after the 2024 presidential election.
