Cops release video of suspects in botched Amsterdam primary school shooting

COPS have released a picture of one of the men believed to have taken part in an attempted assassination at a primary school in Amsterdam.

Police have now released more information about the terrifying attack, which took place in Amsterdam-Osdorp, the Netherlands, in October, in the hopes that information from the public will help track down the would-be killers.

They also released a shocking video of the attempted assassination, as well as a sketch of one of the perps, reports .

Contrary to earlier reports, cops have also revealed that the target of the attempted assassination does not have a criminal record.

The victim claims that he has no idea why he was targeted, and luckily escaped the threat on his life with only a slight injury to his arm.

The shooting happened on October 4 in Iwan Kantemanplein in the Dutch city.

In the video, released on Tuesday, an unidentified person parks a scooter near the school during the night of October 3.

The next morning the scooter can be seen on the surveillance camera footage, with two men sitting on it. Both of them wore helmets, so they could not be identified.

A few moments later the two men on the scooter settle down behind a fence near the victim’s car – 15 minutes later they leave.

As parents and kids come and go the two men on the scooter are then seen returning to the scene at the same time as the victim is walking to his car.

When the innocent man realises something is wrong and runs away, one of the men gets off the scooter and chases after him, firing shots after him.

The gunman jumps back onto the scooter and chases the victim, firing more shots after him, before the two drive off.

The victim only later realised that he was hit in the arm in the savage shooting.

The scooter was later found burning a short distance away.
