FEARS are growing for a missing 13-year-old girl who vanished from her home in Manchester in the early hours of this morning.
Megan Letchert was last seen shortly before 5.10am and hasn't made contact with her family since.
Police say that her disappearance is “extremely out of character" and have urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to get in touch.
She left her home in Lloyd Street South early on Thursday, and there has been one potential sighting of her in the Didsbury area, near the River Mersey.
Megan is described as white, 5ft 4ins-tall, of very slim build, with bleach blonde hair in a bob. She wears glasses with a purple rim.

Police have said that it is not known for certain what Megan was wearing when she left.
However, they believe she could be wearing a brown belted coat with a fur trim hood, blue jeans, and a black, sparkly hat with a flap on the front and sides.
Detective Constable Tracy Oldham, of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “It is extremely out of character for Megan to have left home like this.
“Her family have not heard from her and are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare, so I am appealing to anyone with information on her whereabouts to please contact us as soon as possible.”
