Horrific footage shows wounds of Syrian girl shot in the back by a regime sniper…as it emerges 148 vulnerable civilians have been evacuated from Aleppo
The Red Cross said it had evacuated 148 disabled and elderly civilians who were trapped in the war-torn city of Aleppo
THIS horrific footage shows a little Syrian girl in tears after she was shot in the back by a regime sniper with a bullet that went through her chest.
The video emerged as the Red Cross said it has evacuated 148 mostly disabled and elderly civilians who were trapped in the war-torn city of Aleppo.
Hundreds of civilians have been killed in the crossfire over the past few weeks as President Bashar al-Assad’s forces ousted rebel groups from the majority of the city.
The distressing footage of the wounded girl shows the real cost of the war, which has seen hundreds injured and thousands displaced by the battle.
In the video, the young child – who looks around four-years-old – can be seen lying on a bed with a gunshot wound clearly visible on her chest.
Paramedics can be seen treating the young girl and they turn her over onto her front to show a bloody bullet wound on her back.
This suggests she may have been shot in the back while trying to flee the fighting.
“A sniper bullet shot at a little girl,” one of the men can be heard saying.
“Look at this Bashar al-Assad.”
