Astonishingly during one hearing Onjali claims her aunt, Mumtahina Janat, was branded a "silly woman" by a judge for telling him she believed her husband would kill her one day.

The mum-of-two was found strangled to death at her home in East London in 2011.

The 29-year-old's body was discovered by police at around 1pm, sprawled out on the bedroom floor with a scarf wrapped tightly around her throat.

A postmortem would later reveal the cause of death to be compression of the neck and asphyxia.

It would later take a jury less than one hour to find the 45-year-old guilty of the murder after they dismissed his claims that she perished accidentally following a row.

In a deeply moving video, Onjali recounts her aunt's story and her repeated attempts to get the authorities to believe she was being abused.
