A DRUNK driver sped out of his driveway and shot along a pavement in reverse before smashing into a parked car at high speed.
The 72-year-old was filmed ploughing into the vehicle in Dandenong in the south-east of Melbourne in Australia.
The footage, posted on Youtube by Dash Cam Owners, shows the Honda Jazz pull out a driveway and then barrel along the pavement in a residential area.
Suddenly it lurches across the road - mercifully there are no cars passing by - before flattening a sign and smashing into the parked vehicle.

The driver tries to pull away but the wheels spins helplessly as the car is so tightly wedged.
Soon after the driver was arrested and breath-tested by the police, it was reported.
The video, apparently filmed from a residential security camera, has been viewed more than 7,428 times.
At the end what appears to be a child comes out of a side street on a bike to investigate the source of the disturbance before the footage end abruptly.
