Burger King launches the SufganiKing Whopper where the bun is a ketchup-filled doughnut

BURGER King has combined arguably two of man's favourite foods - burgers and doughnuts - to mark the Hanukkah holiday season in Israel.
The fast-food giant has created a version of its Whopper served in a doughnut instead of the normal bun.

The "Sufganiking" is served on a sufgania, a traditional holiday jelly doughnut which is popular in the country.
Burger King said the normally sweet dough will be transformed into a savoury deep fried bun with ketchup .
The “Sufganiking” will be on sale at all Burger King chains in Israel between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Israeli Burger King CEO Steve Ben Shimol told Ynet: "This matching of two popular Israeli food items was inevitable for us."
Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, commemorates the revolt that captured Jerusalem from the Syrians. It is celebrated by lighting candles on an eight-stemmed Hanukiah to represent how God has looked after the Jewish people in difficult times.
