HAUNTING images have revealed what could be the spookiest abandoned bedrooms anywhere in the world.
The stunning series of images show sterile rows of unmade beds in a former Italian children’s hospital, a lone mattress on a brick floor and a regal looking bedroom in a French castle.
Other chilling snaps illustrate how nature has taken over with mould covered walls and rotting mattresses strewn across floors.
One image even shows how a wooden bed frame has completely collapsed and another shows a mangled and rusted child’s cot.
Another eerie image shows an en-suite bathroom falling through the rotting wooden floor.
In stark contrast to the others, one bedroom in the collection looks surprisingly untouched with paintings hanging on the wall and even a doll sitting in a bedside chair.
Another looks like it could have been slept in just hours earlier.
The images were taken across Europe by IT Manager Roman Robroek, 29, from Heerlen, the Netherlands on his Canon EOS650d camera.
