Stunning images capture wild animals chilling under the moonlight after the tourist jeeps go home
The photographer had to balance taking the pictures with not becoming the ferocious animals' next meal
MAJESTIC safari animals including a lion, elephant and cheetah have been captured under the full moon in these beautiful pictures.
Photographer Brendon Cremer, 35, snapped the impressive collection of night images while in South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana.
Brendon, who lives in Pretoria, South Africa, had to balance taking the pictures with not becoming the ferocious animals' next meal.
He said: "Photographing animals at night is always challenging but when done correctly you can capture some amazing, unique and dramatic images and that is what I love about it, the fact that its different, unique and challenging.
"Most of your predators are more alert at night so you have to be careful.
"I have been fortunate and haven't had any dangerous encounters so far, but I also believe in not crossing the boundary, don't push the limits by entering their space, the wildlife must always come first and be respected.
Most of the photos were captured in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa, butothers were taken at Zimanga Game Reserve in South Africa as well as Etosha National Park, Namibia, and the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
He added: "My passion for taking photographs at night has continued to improve. Not only is it exciting but it's a huge sense of achievement when the shots are so perfectly caught."
Recently, nature fans were given the chance to have their say when it came to the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition by voting in the People’s Choice Award.
And last month the winners of the Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards 2016 were revealed - complete with a fox falling face first into the snow and a conductor squirrel.
