Party animal went to 56 stag dos and racked up huge five figure bill

PARTY animal Will ­Stevenson is paying off a £50,000 bill after going on 56 stag dos — in just 18 months.

He has given up on the getaways after boozy trips to cities including Sydney, Las Vegas and New York.

The car salesman’s exploits began when he bid online for a place on a stranger’s stag do in 2015.

After one invitee dropped out, he ended up in Budapest with 22 lads.

A radio show ran the story and Will was inundated with requests from grooms wanting him to fill a vacant spot.

Among his trips, Will visited Ibiza - his favourite stag destination - as well as Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Amsterdam.

The experience set him back around £50,000 - including travel, food, drinks and accommodation.

Despite often going away without knowing other members of the party, he has made lifelong pals.

Will, 43, of Lincoln, said: “I felt bad saying ‘no’ and I’m still paying off credit cards but it was worth it for the memories.”

Now a married dad, he has toned down his partying — but had three stag dos of his own.

He added: “It was an adrenaline rush.

“I needed three months not drinking after them all!”
