The body had fallen against the attic door and officials are now confident it is that of Rogers who had disappeared after failing to show up to work.

Dyquain was just 21-years-old when he was last seen alive by his gran and his final few Facebook posts suggest he was unhappy about something.

In October 2014 he wrote: “I have been having the worst luck lately.”

It is believed the body had been in the attic for two years after Dyquain was said to have committed suicide.

But his family have disagreed, with his aunt reported as saying: “I don't believe any of this stuff. I want answers.”

How do bodies become mummified?

Under normal circumstances the decomposition process reduces the body to a bare skeleton in a matter of months.
If a dead body is preserved by exposure to chemicals, extreme cold, very low humidity, or lack of air it can become a mummy.
The corpse will not decay further if kept in cool and dry conditions.
