SHOCKING footage shows the moment a knife-wielding teen was pinned to the floor and arrested in McDonald's as scared diners fled in terror.
Cops scrambled to the busy fast food restaurant by Grand Central in Birmingham at around 4.40am yesterday after being alerted to the incident.
Footage shared on social media showed officers swooping on the eatery after a hooded male was seen wielding a 12-inch blade.
Terrified diners watched on open-mouthed and some ran from the chaos as cops approached the 17-year-old.
One officer appeared to pull a taser on the knifeman but did not fire the stun gun, according to cops.
An onlooker can be heard saying, "Yo yo yo, he's got the shank on" just before the teen fell to the ground.
