Dramatic CCTV shows suspected drug cartel gunman fleeing after killing innocent Brit dad in bungled execution in Majorca
Trevor O’Neill was killed in a tragic case of mistaken identity as part of a feud between two families on the Spanish Island
THESE CCTV images show a drug cartel hitman fleeing after allegedly gunning down innocent Brit dad Trevor O’Neill while he was on holiday in Majorca.
Trevor was killed in a tragic case of mistaken identity as a bitter Dublin gang feud reignited on the Spanish Island.
Footage shows a suspected Kinahan hitman running towards Trevor 31 seconds before he fired a shot at the council worker's back as he walked with his partner and children.
In another image, the hooded man can be seen sprinting from the scene following the bungled execution in Costa de la Calma on August 17.
Irish Police are also examining the images — first broadcast on last night — in a bid to help Spanish cops identify the suspect.
The Dublin-based dad-of-three’s heartbroken family were also informed by gardai the images were being published.
Although investigators have identified a chief suspect for the killing that sparked widespread revulsion after it emerged he was shot in a case of mistaken identity, no arrests have been made.
The intended target of the shooting was innocent Jonathan Hutch, who had been staying in the same apartment block.
Speaking after the barbaric murder, Trevor’s partner Suzanne Power told of her horror.
