PRESIDENT-ELECT Donald Trump has called the Pakistan Prime Minister a 'terrific guy' during an international phone call.
The Pakistani government announced yesterday that Nawaz Sharif called Mr Trump and 'felicitated him on his victory'.
, Mr Trump praised the PM for having a 'very good reputation'.
He added: "You are doing amazing work which is visible in every way.
"I am looking forward to see you soon.
"As I am talking to you Prime Minister, I feel I am talking to a person I have known for long.
"Your country is amazing with tremendous opportunities.
"Pakistani's are one of the most intelligent people.
"I am ready and willing to play any role that you want me to play to address and find solutions to the outstanding problems.
"It will be an honour and I will personally do it."

Mr Trump said the PM was welcome to call his office any time, even before he is officially inaugurated on January 20.
Mr Sharif is looking to cement their relationship by inviting Mr Trump to visit Pakistan to which the President-elect responded that he 'would love to come to a fantastic country, fantastic place of fantastic people'.
