Brute boyfriend beat up his partner after she miscarried their unborn baby
Twisted Luke Adams, 28, grabbed former travel agent Akoya Burcu by the head and threw her against a kitchen cupboard
A VICIOUS boyfriend beat up his partner and branded her a murderer after she miscarried their baby.
Twisted Luke Adams, 28, grabbed former travel agent Akoya Burcu by the head and threw her against a kitchen cupboard when he saw her ''vaping'' on an electronic cigarette - days after she lost the unborn child.
He also tried to throttle her in other beatings over an eight-week period - leaving the 26-year old Cyprian-born victim in fear with ''physical and emotional pain.''
She eventually went to police after breaking off their engagement.
Adams, of Congleton, Cheshire admitted assault by beating but escaped jail after making a courtroom plea for mercy in which he said: ''The pain of this will affect me for a long time to come.''
Stokport magistrates heard how Adams was arrested for a domestic incident in 2014 and agreed to have counselling to address his anger issues.
Then in December 2015 he was violent again yet Burcu didn't pursue a complaint.

But violence flared again in September after she lost their baby and Adams subsequently saw her using an E-cigarette.
Prosecutor Danielle Allanson said: ''The defendant was unhappy with the victim using an E-Cigarette in the kitchen. He then grabbed her by the head and threw her against a kitchen cupboard, accusing her of murdering their baby.
"He then shouted that she 'opens her legs for anything' and he 'only uses her for sex.'
"She went upstairs and he followed her into a bedroom and pushed her onto the bed. He pushed a pillow over her face and gripped her round the throat.”
But two weeks later, trouble broke out again when Miss Burcu went out with Adams and two other friends.
After returning from the night out Adams tripped her, punched her in the groin, dragged he onto the floor and began to strangle her.
The final attack occurred on October 27 at the couple's home when Adams demanded Miss Burcu get him a drink.
Allanson said: "She refused and told him she had had enough and that she was leaving him. She said she had had enough of the abuse.
"But the defendant then pinned her down on the sofa and begged her not to leave. He squeezed her round the chin and said, ‘I'm going to kill myself’.
The couple had been in a three-year relationship after meeting on Facebook, and moved into together in 2014 with Adams calling her his ''Princess.''
But Burcu eventually decided she had had enough of Adams' behaviour and went to police. In a witness statement read to court, she said: "I am genuinely scared of Luke; he has caused me physical and emotional pain and I want him to go.
''He has caused me to become depressed and I feel as though I am walking on eggshells not knowing what's going to happen next. I can't live like this anymore."
In Adam's defence, a letter was read to the court saying: "There is no justification for my actions and I am sorry for what I have done.”
As well as being fined, he was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and pay costs and surcharges of £170. He was also issued with a restraining order banning him from contacting Miss Burcu and was further barred from posting her name on social media.
