The holidaymaker said he always ensures he gets his moneys worth while staying at an all-inclusive hotel - and has now revealed how you can do the same.

He told The Sun: "First off, make sure you're eating every couple of hours to make the most of your food."

And with buffets readily available at multiple points of the day, he urges travellers to take advantage of the packaged goods.

"There will always be packets of things that you can take with you," he said.

"Usually it's breadsticks, packets of Nutella and margarine - there'll be biscuits and boxes of Coco Pops and Special K."

Johnny also recommends bringing sandwich bags with you when you travel - so you can nab freebies and take them to your deckchairs in case you get hungry mid-morning.

And holidaymakers should make the most of the free food right up until the end of their stay by making a sandwich at the buffet for the flight home.

"It's always good to have a roll and butter with you throughout the day to munch on," he said.

But the tips don't stop in the cafeteria, as Johnny shared some some neat tricks that can transform your hotel room - and help you get a well-deserved rest.

"Use two plasters to cover the little light you see on the air-con - that way your room will be pitch black," he said.

He also recommends folding a towel in half and draping it over the side of the TV that has a light on it as it can be distracting when you're trying to get to sleep.

And if you want to save on cash, Johnny suggests converting to pounds on hotel websites - which usually makes it much cheaper.

Booking flights and taxis separately will also save money, he said.

The all-inclusive expert went on to explain how regularly switching up your cocktails can refrain you from becoming bored of the drinks and sticking to water.

On his travels he typically goes from a Pimms to a Piña Colada and finishes with a Mango Daiquiri to make sure he's always making the most of the free bar.

If you're planning on booking yourself a sunny all inclusive holiday this summer, Johnny recommends Greece and the Canary Islands as the ultimate hot spots.

"These are your best options as they do loads of package holidays and are family oriented," he said.

This comes after Johnny shared his top tips with The Sun Online on how to always nab the best sun loungers while on holiday.

The self-proclaimed "sun lounger stealer" and has honed his skills over 15 years of visiting the same hotel in Gran Canaria.
