Peter Morgan’s alleged murder victim, escort Georgina Symonds, was showered with gifts by sugar daddy “Rich Pete”, claims best pal Sexy Lexy
AN escort "murdered by her millionaire sugar daddy" was paid £10,000 a month and showered with luxury gifts by the alleged killer, her best pal told a court.
Grieving friend Alexy Butcher has told how Georgina Symonds, 25, developed "more than a client-escort relationship" with Peter Morgan when she moved in with him.
The 54-year-old property tycoon has confessed to killing Georgina and told police: "You will need these keys she's locked in the outhouse".
He strangled the escort, who leaves behind a five-year-old daughter, to death with a homemade ligature.
However he denies murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility because he claims he suffers from Asperger syndrome.
Alexy - known to friends as Sexy Lexy - told how Georgina had been a pole dancer before she went into escorting.
The 24-year-old said: "She worked for a website called Adult Work.
"George enjoyed it.
"She enjoyed sex and she got paid for it."
Alexy said Georgina would boast about her escorting and rented a flat in Cardiff Bay, South Cardiff, to entertain men.
She said Georgina had known married Morgan for around two-and-a-half years before she was found dead in January this year .
Alexy said: "She went to a spa and had a go on his tractors, helicopter flights, visits to the castle."
She said their relationship intensified and Georgina moved into a bungalow owned by Morgan at Pencoed Castle in Llanmartin, Gwent.
Alexy told the court Morgan was paying £7,000 a month into Georgina's account and giving her £3,000 in cash.
She also revealed how Georgina's ex-boyfriend Peter Deem - known as "Poor Pete" - was not happy about this and "couldn't cope with it".
Alexy said: "Rich Pete was totally smitten with Georgia.
"He loved her and cared for her and wanted a future with her.
"But Georgia was only with him for his money.
"I don't think she ever cared for him.
"Even though she left Poor Pete for him it was always her intention to take Rich Pete for all she could and then get back together with Poor Pete.
"That's all it was about."
She said Poor Pete was "jealous" because she made more money than him.
Alexy said Georgina's relationship with her ex-boyfriend was a "love-hate relationship".
But she added Georgina was "very depressed" and "tried to take her own life" when her Mr Deem killed himself in 2015.
She said: "George turned to alcohol and drugs. Peter Morgan was helping her with her grief as much as he could but she blamed him.
"She wasn't very nice to him. She would call him names. She wasn't very nice at all."
Alexy claims Georgina told her she wanted Morgan to sign the bungalow over to her name.
Alexy - who had known her for five years - became worried one day when Georgina didn't pick up her daughter from school as planned.
She then drove to the castle grounds to look her for her
She said: "Around 40 minutes later, Morgan arrived at the property in his Porsche.
"He seemed surprised and we went into the property.
"I told him thought Georgina had done something to herself and he thought the same."
She called police at 8.15pm to report her disappearance.
While they waited for the police to arrive Morgan went to get takeaway food.
Alexy said she didn't find out about her friend's death until she had arrived back home later that night.
Georgina had planned to leave Morgan and was going to use a photo to "fleece" him into giving her thousands of pounds after she left.
Georgina's mum Deborah Symonds said: "I'm aware that Georgina had been threatening Morgan.
"She threatened to tell everyone everything about him and thought she could ruin him."
The court heard Morgan was married to wife Helen but the couple became estranged after she found out about his cheating with escorts.
Deborah said: "Morgan was up to no good behind his wife's back and Georgina had evidence of this, with which she would blackmail him with.
"She said he kept £50,000 in cash at home that he was hiding from the taxman and had built properties that hadn't been passed by building regulation.
"She also had evidence on her phone that Morgan was taking call girls back to his house when he was married to his wife. He was up to no good behind her back."
Deborah told Newport Crown Court that Morgan - worth £20million - would "pay for everything" and her daughter "liked the finer things in life".
But Mrs Symonds said Georgina was in a "three way" relationship with Morgan and her ex-partner Peter Deem.
She said Morgan bankrolled Georgina £10,000-a-month to live with Peter Deem but work as his own exclusive escort.
The court heard Georgina left Peter Deem when Morgan reduced her money to £7,000-a-month, and went to live in the grounds of a castle he owned.
Peter Deem went on to kill himself in November 2015 leaving Georgina "heartbroken."
Mrs Symonds said: "When Peter Deem killed himself she told me 'Mum, I would give all of this up to live in a terraced house with my daughter and him'.
"She told me she was grieving for Peter Deem and because Morgan didn't seem to care she wanted to make him feel hurt over it. She wanted to make him feel a bit of pain."
Morgan is accused of murdering the mum-of-one by strangling her with a homemade ligature at her bungalow home which he paid for.
Newport Crown Court heard he Morgan killed Georgina over fears she would leave him and then blackmail him after he had signed ownership of the bungalow she was living in over to her.
Prosecutor William Hughes said: "Georgina said once she had the bungalow she would do Peter Morgan over and carry on getting money off him by blackmailing him.
"Georgina had a photograph of him that could cause grief. It was a picture of him with another escort in his family home."
Morgan of Llanellen, near Abergavenny, South Wales, denies murder.
The trial continues.
