Brit tourist ‘raped in Rhodes in second attack in a WEEK after Irish woman is assaulted and abandoned on beach’
A BRITISH woman was allegedly raped at her apartment in Rhodes in the second attack on tourists in just a week.
The 47-year-old told police a businessman followed her back to her flat after she left a party on Monday.
After entering the room with her, the suspect allegedly forced her to have sex with him.
The suspect, 47, from Lindos, was arrested a few hours later and brought before the Rhodes prosecutor's office, it was reported by Greek media outlet Rodiaki.
It comes after another female tourist was reportedly raped at a beach in Rhodes by a man who spiked her drink last week.
The 20-year-old Irish woman had gone out in Faliraki with her pals on that evening, local media report.
