Air passenger makes horror bloody discovery under his plane’s seat – before being told of previous flyer’s grim illness
A MAN made a bloody discovery under his plane seat only to be told later by crew that the previous passenger suffered a grim illness.
Habib Battah was travelling to Canada on board an Air France plane when the horror incident unfolded.
About an hour into the flight the flyer claimed he found his backpack to be "soaked in blood" - beneath his seat the carpet was soaked in the bodily fluid.
Flight attendants only then informed him the previous passenger had suffered from "internal bleeding and infection".
More shockingly, Habib said he was then forced to clean up the "biohazard" himself.
Footage showed the man cleaning up the mess with blood-soaked wet wipes that he was allegedly provided with by the flight attendants.

Pictures of the aftermath also showed a sink full of the disgusting tissues as well as his bag strap saturated in a dark reddish stain.
Habib has since taken to Twitter to call out the Air France - scolding the airline for poor customer service.
He said: "I’ve seen a few things in my life, but the horrific blood-soaked carpet on my Air France plane yesterday was another level.
"An hour into the transatlantic flight from Paris to Toronto, I kept smelling something gross and couldn’t figure it out."
Habib explained that when he looked down, he noticed a large red stain near his seat.
He said: "It was wet to the touch.
"At first, the Air France attendant shrugged and gave me some wipes.
"In my broken French I told her it smelled like merde (s**t).
"The wipes came up blood red. I used over a dozen of them."
Habib claimed when he removed his backpack from under the seat in front of him he noticed its strap was soaked in a liquid substance.
And after alerting the flight crew, they reportedly gave him gloves and additional wipes for him to scrub the floor.
He said: "I got on my hands and knees and cleaned for half an hour.
"Then they casually noted a passenger had haemorrhaged on a flight before ours."
The disgusted passenger posted several photographs and a video to document the grim incident.
He added: "Here I am trying to get the blood off my luggage that it absorbed from the airplane carpet.
"The Air France staff crowded around, shocked because they claimed a cleaning crew had removed the seats after the sick passenger incident, but apparently not cleaned the floor."
Habib claimed one flight attendant said the previous passenger suffered from "internal bleeding and infection".
He said: "I really hope Air France takes this seriously and can tell us if we were exposed to any hazardous medical/bio water.
"Chief attendant filed a report, noting sick passenger travelled Thursday from Paris to Boston."
Habib's thread went viral on Twitter and prompted Air France to reply to him via social media.
Air France's post read: "Hi @habib_b, this particular matter is being taken into account and you will be contacted by our teams as soon as possible. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you."
Habib thanked the airline for responding but also stated it was not a customer service issue but a biohazard.

He added: "You may have exposed me and other passengers to infectious disease. We need to know the condition of the sick passengers ASAP."
