‘Devoted’ mum-of-two Stephanie Thorpe who died at music festival is pictured as friends and family pay tribute
TRIBUTES have been paid to a "beautiful" mum who tragically died at a music festival.
Stephanie Thorpe, 32, was rushed to hospital after falling ill at Restricted Forest in Blackburn, Lancashire, on Saturday.
Tributes have now flooded in for Stephanie, who had a two-year-old son.
Her sister Kelly Thorpe described the mum as a "pure and beautiful spirit who would light up a room when she walked in".
She said: “She always wanted to work with children and was passionate about working with kids.

“She had a caring nature.
“She was full of life and lit up the room as soon as she walked in."
Her other sister Cherie described Stephanie, who worked as a teacher for children with additional needs, as the "best mum ever".
She added: "She gave the most love to anyone she came across and she was very funny”.
Stephanie's best friend Holly Mclaughlin has now launched a to support her son and partner Carl Pendlebury.
She said: “I can’t explain how much she was loved.
“When you meet her that’s it, she’s a part of your life.
“We have been inseparable ever since meeting and have been together every day.
“I want to continue keeping her character alive for ever and look after Alfie and Carl."
Police were scrambled to the one-day festival in Witton Park on Saturday.
They confirmed Stephanie's death is not being treated as suspicious.
