Man in his 40s dies suddenly at Glastonbury festival as cops launch probe
A MAN in his 40s has died suddenly at Glastonbury festival as cops launch a probe.
The man died after suffering a "medical incident" on a footpath at Worthy Farm in Somerset known as the old railway line at around 4am.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
Investigators are not treating the death as suspicious, though enquiries are ongoing on behalf of the coroner.
It is the first death at the usually-safe festival since a security guard was found dead in his tent in 2019.
Today is the final day of the -based event, with headliners including Lizzo, The Arctic Monkeys and Lewis Capaldi taking to the Pyramid Stage over the past week.
