Brit tourist found dead on Greek holiday as wife makes frantic call for help

A BRIT was found dead during a holiday in Greece while his terrified wife frantically called for help.

The 65-year-old died in the village of Horto in Pelion in northern Greece where the couple had gone for a holiday.

According to local media, the man was found dead in bed by his wife who frantically called for help.

It appears the man died of natural causes, reports.

Police officers from the AT Mileon were at the scene as the body had to be transported for an autopsy to establish the cause of the man's death.

The body will then be transported to the UK for burial.

Earlier this month another British tourist died after he was pulled unconscious from the water on a Greek beach.

The 64-year-old man was pulled out of the sea by holidaymakers at the beach of ​​Alykanas in Zante.

The man was taken to the Zakynthos General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

While last month a Brit died on a Greek island after he was struck by lightning while paddleboarding.

Scott Seddon, 26, was in the water in the Agia Agathi area of Rhodes when he was electrocuted.

His girlfriend started shouting "come out, come out" as other onlookers also urged him to get out of the sea as lightning started hitting the area.

It is understood his girlfriend caught the terrifying moment on camera as she had been filming Mr Seddon in the water from the beach.
