A post mortem carried out on Maja revealed she died from a stab wound to the heart, while Dawid died from multiple stab injuries.

A post mortem on the mum showed she died from multiple sharp force injuries.

Officers did not reveal any further information on husband Michal's death but said he suffered sharp force injuries to the neck.

The Met are now trying to establish how long the family were dead inside the home for before they broke the door down.

An inquest opening heard how Maja's school had called police on Friday to report she had not attended classes since Monday.

Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, who is leading the investigation, said: “Specialist detectives continue to investigate the circumstances which led to this tragic incident.

"We are continuing to support family members at this unimaginably difficult time, and we thank the local community for their understanding in recent days whilst we conducted enquiries at the scene.

“The situation remains that we are not currently seeking anybody else in connection with the incident.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting reference 5135/16Jun.
