Dad who appeared on Channel 5 show The Accused in court charged with murdering daughter ‘six years after he shook her’
A DAD who appeared on Channel 5 show The Accused has appeared in court charged with murdering his daughter.
Kyle Kitchen, 36, allegedly shook eight-week-old Primrose Ivy on November 3, 2014, leaving her with severe brain damage.
He has now been charged with murder after she died aged six on May 17, 2021.
Kitchen appeared at the Old Bailey today via video-link from HMP Thameside.
No plea was entered but a provisional trial date was set for April 9 next year.
The dad was remanded into custody to next appear for a hearing on October 9.

Kitchen previously appeared on Channel 5 documentary The Accused, which centred around Primrose Ivy's mum.
Prosecutors allege she died because of the injuries he inflicted six years earlier at their home in Camden, North London.
Primrose Ivy suffered in damage and a fractured skull after she was allegedly shaken.
