Expert called in by cops to probe Sir Edward Heath satanic child abuse claims says allegations are ‘lies’
Statements from several of Heath’s accusers including one who told police he was linked to a network of paedophiles who held satanic orgies and stabbed children in churches
A TOP expert called in by police to probe claims of child abuse against Sir Edward Heath dismissed them as fantasy in an official report, it was revealed last night.
Criminologist Dr Rachel Hoskins urged cops not to take the allegations against the late former Prime Minister seriously as the claims are down to an “over-active imagination”,.
The crime expert told Wilshire Police that the abuse accounts are likely to be based on false memories unearthed in therapy.
Dr Hoskins had access to statements from several of Heath’s accusers including one – a woman – who told police he was linked to a network of paedophiles who held satanic orgies and stabbed children in churches.
In a public report of her findings, she wrote: “I have established that the allegations against at least some of the people caught up in Operations Conifer and Midland are based on no more than two uncorroborated witnesses, whose claims of satanic abuse were made under the influence of controversial psychotherapists specialising in ‘recovered memories’.”

She also requested MPs be alerted to her damning findings.
It comes after an inquiry by a retired High Court judge savaged Scotland Yard for believing the claims of a fantasist known as Nick, who said he had been abused by a VIP paedophile ring including Heath, Harvey Proctor, former home secretary Lord Brittan and D-Day war hero Lord Bramall.
Last night Wiltshire Police said: “This investigation is complex and multi-stranded. There are a number of allegations with a significant number of individuals who have disclosed allegations of abuse.
“In addition to this there are a number of investigations that have fallen out of the main investigation that we are pursuing.
“When we receive an allegation we are duty-bound to investigate and we go impartially where the evidence takes us.”
