Vicar photobombed by grinning prankster PM at parade honouring Olympic heroes
Rev Annie just managed to say 'Hello Prime Minister' before Mrs May turned back around still laughing
PRANKSTER Prime Minister Theresa May shows off her lighter side – by photobombing a vicar.
The giggling premier was all smiles as she posed playfully behind oblivious cleric Annie Woodcock.
Reverend Annie, 53, wondered why onlookers were chuckling as she had her picture taken at the Heroes Parade for Olympic and Paralympic stars in Manchester.
But when she turned around and saw the PM leaning over her the edge of her podium, she burst into fits of laughter herself.
Annie, who is vicar of St Mary’s Church in Hyde, Manchester, and chaplain to the Mayor of Tameside, said: “I could see everyone in front of me laughing and I turned round to see the Prime Minister behind me. She was laughing her head off.
“I was so surprised when I saw her that I just managed to say ‘hello Prime Minister’.
“I mean, what do you say when you get photobombed by the Prime Minister? I think I sort of thanked her for the picture and she turned around still laughing."

“I saw her a few more times during the day but never spoke to her. I must say that she seemed a very natural and laid-back person and was having good fun. And I understand that her father was a vicar as well.
“I’ve always voted Labour to be honest but I think I have almost changed my mind since meeting her. She seemed really down to earth.”
Mrs May, 60, has previously demonstrated a knack for funny photos.
Two years ago, while Home Secretary, she treated police to a range of hilarious facial expressions while waiting for the Queen to arrive at a school in Berkshire.
