A WOMAN has claimed her nightmare neighbour attempted to tear down her fence and even set up cameras to spy on her after a boundary dispute turned sour.

Laureen shared the crazy moment she came home and found her neighbour screwing signs into her fence - and everyone is saying the same thing.

She explained: "Not only did they screw signs into the fence, they also pitched a tent on my property with multiple cameras on tripods."

Shocking photos show her neighbours filming her, and multiple cameras on tripods can be seen dotted around trees on the property.

Laureen continued: "Then one day while we were away, they hired a fencing company to try and take down our fence.

"They did not succeed at their attempt."

But the situation worsened when Laureen discovered she was being secretly watched.

A camera was placed on the neighbour's gazebo, and pointed directly at their garage.

Laureen said she thinks it was placed to know when they left or returned home.

After their failed attempts to "take over Laureen's property", the pesky neighbours installed their own fence on the true property line.

Viewers online were shocked, and all of them seemed to agree with Laureen.

One commented: "This is my biggest fear in buying a house: spending all the time, money, work, and getting a neighbour like this."

Another piped in: "Did you sue them for property damage? I would have, since they did that to your fence.

"Not to mention all the trespassing!"

One said: "A new fence, more property and some landscaping - you win."

Another set of neighbours were involved in a dispute that saw one of them lose £130,000 after suing her.

Liz Peck and her husband Adam were furious after neighbour Debbie Ranford constructed her extension inches too close to their £1.5m home in south east London.

They took her to court but were criticised by a judge for using a "sledgehammer to crack a nut" over the "very minor" minor boundary issue last year.

The couple wanted Mrs Ranford to tear down her loft extension but instead Judge Simon Monty awarded them just £200 compensation and ordered them to pay the £130,000 legal costs of the case at Central London County Court.

But now they have been granted permission to appeal in the High Court in a bid to get their damages payout increased.
