Veronique John, 49, charged with murder after girl, 7, and boy, 11, found dead at Stoke-on-Trent home
A MUM has been charged with murder after allegedly killing her two young children, before stabbing her husband at his workplace.
Cops confirmed that Veronique John, 49, had been charged with two counts of murder and one of attempted murder in relation to the horror.
Ethan and Elizabeth John, aged 11 and seven respectively, were found dead at a house in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire on June 11 after suffering "significant injuries".
Neighbours then reported seeing Veronique walk towards the car wash where her husband works, where she is alleged to have attacked him while still in her dressing gown.
Ethan and Elizabeth’s schools paid tributes to them on Monday night.
Ethan’s school said: “Ethan was a wonderful member of our school community.

"He had impeccable manners and an infectious smile.
"He will be hugely missed by the staff and pupils alike and will forever be part of our hearts."
In a tribute to Elizabeth, her school said: “Elizabeth was a kind, caring and friendly member of our school family.
"She was a ray of sunshine who always had a smile on her face. She was everyone's friend - she was both bright and popular.

"The loss of Elizabeth is truly devastating for us all and her absence will leave a huge hole within our school community."
The children's cause of death will be established at an inquest into the case, cops said.
Veronique is set to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow, investigators added.
Detective Chief Inspector Cheryl Hannan, of Staffordshire Police, said: “I cannot begin to imagine the pain and suffering felt by the family and friends of these two children at this time."
