A MUM and stepdad appeared in court yesterday accused of murdering a tot found with more than 100 injuries including a chest bite.
Jeremiah Regis, 2½, was pronounced dead in hospital on Monday.
Police and paramedics were called shortly before midnight on Sunday to an address where Jeremiah was found with head and body injuries.
A post-mortem showed the tot died of abdominal peritonitis caused by blunt force trauma in Wolverhampton.
The court heard that Jeremiah's injuries included a complex skull fracture, a significant bite mark to his chest and 100 specified injuries to his body.

The case was adjourned until next month.
