Schoolgirls, 11 and 12, found safe after disappearing from York

TWO missing girls from York have been found safe.

Police appealed for information about Chelsea, 12, and Lacie, 11, after they were last seen at 8.30pm on Monday, June 12, in the Germany Beck area of Fulford, York.

Chelsea is described as 5ft tall with long, wavy auburn hair, while Lacie is 5ft 4in with shoulder length brown hair.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Good news - Missing York girls found safe.

"We appealed for information about the girls, aged 11 and 12, after they were reported missing yesterday evening, 12 June 2023.

"Thank you to everyone who supported our appeals."
