We bought Harry Potter’s house… now we’re selling off parts of the home to make cash in magical side hustle

THE owner of the house used as Harry Potter's home in the hit film adaptations is selling off parts of the property to make cash.
The three-bedroom cul-de-sac house in Bracknell, Berkshire, featured as the fictional residence of the Dursley family in the Philosopher's Stone.
Harry Potter was forced to live in the cupboard under the stairs at 4 Privet Drive located in the fictional town of Little Whinging, Surrey.
And now the current owner, who wished to remain anonymous, has revealed their magical side hustle - selling grass and bricks from the property.
They told the Sun: "If I could make money from it I would. We did sell some grass from here. We rolled it up and they bought it.
"We've got a load of bricks in this house which we took out when we had the extension done but we kept them.

"A lot of influencers and some fans said they would like a brick from this house."
Harry's iconic home briefly went on the market for £475,000 in 2016, but was removed by the owner.
The neighbouring house was bought for £650,000 - nearly £200,000 over the asking price.
The owner previously described the "constant" stream of tourists visiting their home as "bizarre".

"We've had people in floods of tears. It's bizarre. The kids, you get it. But obviously the adults. They dress up sometimes in full gear and recreate scenes," they told the Sun.
"There was one time somebody tried to climb the fence. That was when we were like 'oh my god, don't do that!'
"We are accommodating though. I've moved my cars for people that want a good photo.
"I don't mind. Harry Potter is amazing. I get that. But you do come home from work and they are all on your drive. It's quite mad.
"We knew what house we were buying except they didn't really tell us. They didn't tell us they are here all day, every day. It's constant."
