Man, 26, arrested by cops ‘increasingly concerned’ for missing woman, 21, as mum makes public plea for help
A MAN has been arrested by police searching for a missing 21-year-old woman as her mum urged people to “do what they can to help find her.”
Cops say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" about Chloe Mitchell, 21, who was last seen at the weekend.
Chloe was last seen in Ballymena town centre late on Friday night, into the early hours of Saturday 3 June.
Search parties have been organised in the Harryville area.
Chloe’s mum Georgina Mitchell told the Irish Sun: “This is just very out of character.
“We have just had no information at all since she went missing so we’re just waiting.”
She said she last saw her daughter on Friday June 2 at 6.45pm.
Ms Mitchell said: “We know that she went to James Street in Ballymena and that’s all we know.”
She urged anyone with any information to speak up, saying: “That’s all we are asking, if you know anything at all please come forward.
"We just want anyone who can help to do what they can to help find her."
The 21-year-old was last seen wearing a green and black North Face style jacket, a white T-shirt, leggings and Nike trainers.
