A SPEEDING driver who rammed a police car after leading cops on a motorway chase was found to be carrying a loaded gun.
Kane McLeod, 32, was spotted in an Audi A7 with cloned plates and sped up to 135mph on the M20 near Dartford, Kent.
After pulling over, he rammed a cop car and sped off again — swerving across motorway lanes.
He hit a kerb — triggering the car’s airbags and causing him to lose control.
He tried to flee on foot by was tasered and arrested in April 2021.
Police found the bag and a handgun and inside the vehicle, they also found a small amount of drugs.

Matthew Kirk, prosecuting, said the rucksack contained a 9mm automatic pistol, loaded with six bullets.
McLeod, of Derby, admitted firearms, drugs and driving offences at Maidstone crown court and was jailed for five years and 11 months.
He also got an extra two years, ten months for a similar 2018 incident in North West London.
