A WOMAN'S bedsit has been touted 'Britain's filthiest home' - with binbags piled high and cupboards crammed with clutter.
Expert cleaner Joe Cole couldn't believe his eyes when he had to wrestle his way through festering rubbish to work his magic on the one-bedroom property in the Portsmouth area.
Stomach-curdling images reveal the home's floor piled high with rotting rubbish.
The bathroom and kitchen floors were equally unsightly - with the latter crammed with clutter.
The revolting gaff took the 43-year-old grime buster three days to clean.
After discovering the sorry state of the property, Joe was met with a pitiful excuse for its condition.

"She said she had a phobia of black bags", he scoffed.
"It was absolutely ridiculous, I've never heard anything like it before.
"Usually people aren't embarrassed about their property being like that but this girl was.
"Her bed was completely covered and she was sleeping in the middle of the room. There was a nest in the middle and she slept in that.

"It must have been building up for about two years over lockdown. The bath was full of waste so she mustn't have showered in that time."
Heaps of built-up waste meant that Joe's first challenge, comically, was gaining entry to the house.
He added: "I had to fight my way into the house.
"There was packaging and food waste everywhere, she'd have had to climb over it to get to her nest in the middle.
"When I walked in I thought 'oh my god, you can't get much worse than that'. It was smelly too.
"She cried at the end because she'd got her home back."
