Double murderer who buried mum and girl under kitchen floor pens make sick bid for freedom
A DOUBLE murderer who buried a mum and daughter under his kitchen floor has penned a 40-page appeal against his conviction and life sentence.
Monster Andrew Innes, 52, spent two days holed up in his cell preparing the document after sacking his legal team, insiders claim.
The fiend was caged for at least 36 years in February for stabbing and beating Bennylyn Burke, 25 with a hammer before strangling her toddler Jellica, two, at his home in Dundee.
But the deluded paedo — who also raped another child — is convinced he is a victim of a miscarriage of justice.
He admitted the 2021 killings but claimed diminished responsibility.
A source said: “Innes is supremely arrogant and always thinks he is the most intelligent person in the room.
"He decided his legal team was to blame for him being found guilty of murder.
“He’s now written this huge document complaining he is the victim of a miscarriage of justice.
“It is another insult to the lives of those innocent victims and their family.”
Appeal judges are expected to give their decision tomorrow.
