Urgent hunt for man in black hood after schoolgirl sexually assaulted in broad daylight
COPS have launched an urgent hunt for a man after a schoolgirl was allegedly sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
Avon and Somerset Police have urged anyone with information to come forward after the attack in Taunton, Somerset.
The victim, who is a child in her early-teens, was walking along Hamilton Road, near the junctions with Bridgwater Road and Ilminster Road, when it happened at approximately 10.15am on April 20.
An unknown man walked up to her and inappropriately touched her, according to the cops.
He was wearing a black hooded top and had the hood raised at the time.
The local neighbourhood officers were informed and carried out patrols in the area but the offender remains unidentified.
CCTV and house-to-house enquiries have also been carried out.
