The blue Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a "single-vehicle road traffic collision" on Saturday, April 29.

The driver, a teenage woman, was taken to Ipswich Hospital with serious injuries, where she remains in a stable condition, according to cops.

Bethany's family said she was a "bright light that lit up our lives".

They added: "She was loud and funny, yet at times quiet and happy in her own company.

"Thoughtful, generous, kind and determined are all words that come to mind when we think of her. Setting her mind to learning to drive and buying a car all of which she did by herself."

The carer, who was devoted to her dog Stomper, worked at Park View residential care home and won an award for "favourite domestic".

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: "Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the collision.

"They would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area just prior to the incident and who has a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for anything that may be of assistance."
