I picked up my daughter from nursery covered in blood – now she won’t be going back
A FURIOUS dad has told how his daughter was left covered in blood after an accident at nursery.
Neil Dumoulin says his two-year-old was left needing hospital treatment after a fall at Little Green Rascals in York on Monday.
Shocking pictures show Delilah with blood gushing from a 1.5cm cut above her right eye.
The nursery says they have now launched an investigation into the incident.
'Traumatised' Neil says he was just about to collect his daughter when staff called him to say she had hurt herself.
The shocked dad rushed Delilah to A&E where her cut was cleaned and closed with glue.

An accident report was said to be filled out by the nursery, which says that staff did not see how Delilah hurt her eye.
It says the tot told staff she had hit it on a chair after they found her on the floor by a table.
Neil says he has now submitted a complaint to nursery bosses, has withdrawn Delilah from the nursery and reported the matter to Ofsted.
A spokesperson for Little Green Rascals told : "The safety of children, team members and visitors is the top priority at Little Green Rascals.

"We are saddened that an accident has occurred to a child within our care.
"We are conducting a robust investigation and a summary of findings will be shared with the parents at the point of conclusion.
"We liaise and work with regulatory bodies where applicable and are in contact with the Local Authority and Ofsted."
Martin Kelly, corporate director of children and education from City of York Council, said: "We are aware of the situation that took place at Little Green Rascals Nursery, and we are engaged with relevant bodies to provide guidance and gain appropriate assurance."
Little Green Rascals was rated “outstanding” by Ofsted in a report published in 2022.
