LOCALS in a seaside town say their village is going to be ruined as it's about to get overcrowded with horrific parking problems.
Hunstanton residents say the council is to blame, after giving plans to turn a hotel into flats the green light despite opposition.
Many claimed the change would see the streets plagued with parking issues, which would impact local businesses, too.
King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council agreed to plans to see the Richmond House on Westgate developed into 13 apartments.
Shaun Burrell, who owns nearby Owens DIY on Chapel Lane, was one of those against the plan.
The business owners said the move could mean the end for his firm.

He said that the residents would start parting on his street, stopping his delivery drivers stopping by.
reported Shaun said: "I already have a few suppliers who now refuse to deliver to my business due to access problems caused by parked cars or refuse bins just left out in the lane before and after collection."
Borough councillor for Hunstanton Paul Beal also had an issue with the plans.
Paul said the development was "nothing but overdevelopment in such an overcrowded area".

There were eight oppositions in total.
Mike Ruston spoke in support of the plans.
He said: ";There is little difference between a hotel with no parking and flats with no parking."
The Sun Online has contacted the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council for comment.
