In chilling footage captured on CCTV, the gunman appears to be walking in a group with two other men on Mungo Park Road.

A man - dressed in a light-coloured tracksuit - then walks past the group with his hands behind his back.

The three stop and turn around as one of them, with what looks like a white carrier bag, begins to give pursuit.

He stalks his victim - heading for a black car - across the square with his hand behind the bag.

The infant then runs for their life as the gunman holds the weapon out in front and charges for the black vehicle.

All hell breaks loose when the gunman fires shots into the black saloon car as it tears off following the 4.11pm horror.

He is later followed by one of the group he was walking with before the video cuts off.
