This home has just gone on sale for £1million on the same estate where iconic TV show was filmed… but you’ll never guess which one
The four-bedroom house comes complete with a garden, two decked terraces and a garage
IT may look unrecognisable now but this contemporary house is situated on the same estate that was once famously home to the Trotter family.
The iconic location where Only Fools and Horses was filmed has been undergoing a major makeover, which will see all 50 tower blocks on the Sixties council estate demolished.
And this four-bedroom townhouse is being marketed for £1.1million, breaking the seven-figure barrier on the 'Peckham' estate - which was actually filmed in South Acton, West London - for the first time.
The 1,736 sq ft house is set over four floors in a mews and comes complete with a front garden, two decked terraces, a garage and 'timber-effect' flooring.
Located on a tree-lined street the contemporary home is a far cry from Del Boy's garishly-decorated flat in Harlech Tower, which is better known as Nelson Mandela House in the BBC sitcom.
The building is among those on the estate, built between the late Fifties and mid-Seventies, which is being pulled down as part of an ambitious regeneration programme.
It'll make way for the Acton Gardens - a sprawling 52-acre development, with other 2,500 new homes comprising of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as four bedroom "überhauses" in a mix of private and affordable housing.
The developers say the split level properties have been designed to maximise space, with carefully planned room layouts and expansive floor to ceiling windows.

Outdoor spaces around the development are designed to create social, lively places for people to relax and enjoy and are a nod to the traditional appeal of New York City's parks and squares.
Prices at the lower-end of the scale start at £425,000 for a one-bed flat, while the three-bed überhause penthouses are available from £700,000.
The estate has previously gained a reputation for crime and anti-social behaviour and became so dilapidated it became the location for the 1997 film Welcome to Sarajevo, about war-torn Bosnia.
It was also an iconic filming location for the 2010 film version of Brighton Rock, starring Dame Helen Mirren, and featured in the Bill, Minder and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.
The BBC returned to South Acton to film a prequel to the Only Fools and Horses named Rock & Chips, starring James Buckley as a young Del Boy, in 2010.
