The disgraced former DJ became known as the face of Slimfast in the 1990s after appearing in the weight loss firm's TV ads.
He was renowned for his catchphrase "I can't believe I was that fat!" after shedding five stone.

As well as his TV work, Bethell also worked on various radio stations including BBC Radio Kent and KMFM and appeared on After They Were Famous in 2002.

Once there, the paedo showered her with gifts and told her he could make her a popstar.
The DJ also plied her with sweets and fizzy drinks to keep her quiet as he abused her.
Bethell was found guilty of assaulting the girl between 2004 and 2008 and three charges of taking indecent images of a child.
