Horror as man, 26, plunges 39 floors to his death from huge tower block with cops investigating tragedy
A MAN, 26, has plunged 39 floors to his death from a huge tower block - with cops launched an investigation.
Cops said that the man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene after falling from the 39th floor of the tower block in Canary Wharf, east London.
Although an investigation went on through the night, his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Tower Hamlets Police said: "On Monday 15 May 2023 at about 2200 hours Police and London Ambulance Service were prompted to a 26 year old male who fell from 39th floor of a building on Marsh Wall E14.
"He was pronounced life extinct at scene by LAS medics. The death is not being treated as suspicious, however the investigation is still ongoing by our colleagues from criminal investigation department.
"There is a crime scene in place and road closure, however we are working hard to reopen the road soon to minimise disruptions to local residents and businesses."
