Lucy Letby photographed thank you card from parents of two of her ‘victims’ as ‘something to remember’
A NURSE accused of murdering seven babies photographed a thank you card from the parents of two of her victims as "something to remember", a court heard.
Lucy Letby, 33, allegedly murdered Child E by an injection of air into the bloodstream in August 2015.
She then used insulin to attempt to kill his twin brother, Child F, but did not succeed, it is said.
Manchester Crown Court was told the twins' parents brought a hamper containing a thank you card to Countess of Chester's neonatal unit around three months later.
Letby took a photo of the card while working a night shift on the ward in November 2015.
It was later recovered from her mobile following her arrest, jurors heard.

When asked why she took a picture of the card during her evidence today, Letby said: "It was something I wanted to remember.
"I quite often take photographs of cards I have sent and received."
The nurse also allegedly searched the name of the twins' mum on Facebook nine times between Child E's death and January 2016.
She told the court today: "Searching for people on Facebook is something I would do.

"Quite often [the twins' mother] was on my mind following [Child E and Child F].
She said it was a "normal pattern of behaviour" for her to look for the parents of babies she had treated more than once on Facebook.
Letby allegedly embarked on a year-long killing spree while working on the neonatal ward at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
The court heard previously she was a "constant malevolent presence" on the neonatal ward.
Letby is accused of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill ten others between June 2015 and June 2016.
It's claimed some of the newborns were repeatedly targeted by the nurse - including one baby Letby is alleged to have killed after three previous failed attempts.
Consultants at the hospital grew suspicious of the "significant rise" in the number of babies dying or suffering "catastrophic" collapses.
Letby denies all 22 charges, which are said to have taken place between June 2015 and June 2016.
A court order prohibits identifying the surviving and deceased children and prohibits identifying parents or witnesses connected with the babies.
The trial continues.
