A FATHER has been left fuming after thinking a packet of Walkers crisps bagged him £100,000 when finding a completely white bag in his multi-pack - only to discover it was a misprint.
Graham Kirby was rummaging through his kitchen cupboards while getting ready to leave for work when he unearthed the pale packet in the 20-bag "meaty" box.
He initially thought he had scooped a bag worth up to £100,000, similar to the snack giant's recent heart-shaped crisp promotion launched by the BBC's Match Of The Day presenter and former England, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona football star Gary Lineker.
Mr Kirby also wondered whether he had discovered a new flavour.
But the carpenter ultimately realised it was a bag of roast chicken crisps nestled among the £4.85 box that was somehow not the usual bright orange colour.
Mr Kirby, whose favourite flavour is salt and vinegar, opted to leave it at home and took another to munch on for lunch.

The 37-year-old dad-of-two from Southampton now fears the packet's pale exterior was caused by a printing error - so sadly not proving to be a competition prize.
He said: "I opened my cupboard and saw that. It was quite surreal - I've never seen anything like this before.
"I thought, 'I've got a white bag of crisps here - does this mean anything?'
"I showed it to my wife and said, 'What do you reckon to this? I've got a white bag of crisps here - worth a load of money? It would be nice if it was worth £100,000.'

"I then thought it was a special flavour. They're supposed to be roast chicken - that's normally a yellow-orangey colour packaging. I'm assuming it's a printing error.
"I was going to take them that morning and I thought, 'You know what - I won't'.
"Because I'm a carpenter I put loads of stuff in my van. I thought they might get broken or the bag might pop.
"I didn't want to damage the bag or the contents, I kept it for the novelty value."
Mr Kirby told how he felt "frustrated" his wife Hannah started buying the meaty multipack boxes from the Totton branch of Asda because they lacked his favourite flavours.
He added: "It really frustrates me because there's never any salt and vinegar or ready salted in there, and they're my favourite.
"My daughter usually eats them as well but for some reason my missus started buying them in the multipack boxes and there's never any salt and vinegar in there."
Walkers has been contacted for comment.

It was revealed last month how the firm had shrunk its large multipacks of crisps from 22 to 20 bags while hiking the price by 8% - in one of the latest examples of "shrinkflation".
Snack fans have recently been told, however, how to enjoy their crisps all the more - by opening packs upside-down.
