Children left terrified after ‘ghost’ is filmed pumping iron on gym machine in public park
Phantom fitness fanatic blamed after shoulder press machine seen moving by itself in tourist resort of Cancun, Mexico
THIS is the eerie moment a park shoulder press machine moves up and down by itself as shocked children walk in front of it, sparking speculation a ghost is working out.
A woman bystander picked up her mobile and started filming the freaky incident as she warned the youngsters not to go near it.
The woman can be heard shouting: “Look at that – it’s moving on its own!”
Social media users were claiming today it was the work of a ghost.
The shoulder press – part of an outdoor park gym in the Mexican tourist resort of Cancun – was moving for the entire 23 seconds the recording lasted.
No-one has yet come forward to offer an explanation for what happened, including the maintenance firm that looks after the equipment.
Local reports said it had been checked but nothing untoward had been found.
Earlier this year bizarre footage emerged of a piece of outdoor gym equipment in northern Chile moving with no-one on it.
The equipment was in a park near a graveyard.
And last week, a chilling photo emerged showing a “ghost child” in the back seat of a car, peeking out from behind a girl who took a selfie on her smartphone.
Melissa Kurtz, 48, was driving her daughter Harper to a beauty pageant when the 13-year-old became bored and started taking snaps of herself.
However the mum-of-two claims she later spotted the ghostly face of a young boy lurking behind Harper – despite insisting there was one else in the car with them.
Researching the stretch of road they were travelling on, Melissa discovered that the spooky selfie coincided with the anniversary of a deadly road accident which she thinks could have involved the same little lad.
