The new store opened up last month and immediately caught the attention of locals - who say it is the “poshest shop in Wales”.

A video tour of the store shows the shop boasts an ice bath to chill drinks before purchase.

It also has a tango blast machine and allows people to pour their own soft serve ice creams.

Customers can also treat themselves to a vegan frappe and the store offers “premium” meal deals.

It also sells local eggs and homemade bread from farmers in the community.

However, the most popular part of the store is its deli area - where they plate up takeaway roast dinners.

For just £6.50 they give customers a choice of beef or pork - served alongside mash, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, peas, cauliflower and gravy.

Reviews on the shop’s Facebook pages read more like a restaurant than a Spar.

One happy customer wrote: “Just to say the Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious.

“Beautiful meat (beef) and really tasty.

“Great value for money. Will definitely be buying one again.”

Another said: “Was very impressed with the food and atmosphere.”

And one visitor to the Spar revealed: "Gone is the tired white, red, and green façade, instead replaced with a swish matt black frontage, and a new focus on fresh foods catering for customers on ‘making a meal’ or ‘grab and eat’ missions."

They added: "If I was being bold I'd say this is possibly the poshest Spar in Wales, which is appropriate seeing as Narberth is one of the trendiest places to live in Wales."

It comes after The Sun told of a Domino's dubbed the worst in the UK.

Customers previously vowed never to return to the branch in Bedfordshire, Flitwick - with some left so disgusted they said they left before even placing their orders.
